It’s the 1-year anniversary of Web3 Demo Day, and the event is celebrating Dragon’s Den style. 6 founders will be delivering 5-minute pitches to a live audience, with 5 investor judges listening intently on stage.
This is a prime opportunity to network too. Web3 Demo Day is designed to source and highlight high-quality dealflow in London’s Web3 ecosystem, with a champagne reception, VIP room, 360 booth, celebrity guests and an afterparty to back it up.
“I like to add a touch of glamour to it,” says event host Lorae Knight.
Knight explains that her inspiration for the event came from working with technical founders, especially those who’d created a great business but needed guidance on fundraising, communication and sales strategy.
About 400 attendees, all senior professionals, are expected on Jan 27, with Visa and Wirex on board as sponsors. Knight says the event is for ‘anyone who’s a Web3 builder that likes to party.’
Specifically, the event could be highly valuable for HNW individuals, entrepreneurs, and fintechs that can integrate Visa into their payment solutions, or Wirex Private customers seeking an alternative way to make digital payments and bank on-chain.
